From the pediatrics service of the Terrassa Hospital, we learned about VRPharma thanks to the realization of a Clinical Study. The truth is that the product is great. It had never occurred me that there could be something to help children during vaccines. By the time he enters the new reality, the child forgets about the injection, even though I had previously told him what would happen.
I always thought that vaccines are something that children have to go through; something that makes them brave and strong. In life, not everything is easy. But it really is a product that teaches them how to live the pain by turning it around and turning it into something positive. That is to say, extrapolating it, it teaches us how to see the fun parts and new colors, the problems that are present and that make us grow.

Martí had many blood tests since he was born, so he was getting more and more distressed about this. He resisted so strongly, that they would always pull him out on a stretcher so that several nurses could hold him while another would do the blood extraction.
When we had the opportunity to use the VRPHARMA at the last extraction, the experience was totally different. He was not scared because he was paying more attention to the device and he was expecting to be transported inside a movie. He was completely focused on the virtual reality he was living, ignoring all the rest, so extraction was easy for the first time. Afterwards he would tell us that he liked it and that he had only felt a little bite. It was a success! Hope it will become a standard practice to relieve patient’s stress!
